Kaye Khalsa is a Mom, Author, Yoga Studio Owner, Yoga & Meditation Teacher.

First published story released in March of 2009- Chicken Soup for the Soul-Power Moms.

An excerpt from On the Eleventh Day (Joan of Arc: Beyond the Veil) won an Honorable Mention in the 2009 Writer’s Digest Writing Competition.

I’m currently seeking for representation for my First Novel, On the Eleventh Day.

Co-Director, Founder of Franklin Yoga and Wellness Center, Rainforest Preserve in Costa Rica, and EP &HR Fund, a 501C3 non-profit agency for earth preservation and human relief. After leaving the banking industry, and having two beautiful boys, Kaye began training and teaching in the wellness industry. To date, she completed nearly 1,300 hours of training in yoga, meditation and healing modalities and has taught over 2,000 hours of yoga and meditation classes. Currently, her primary focus is writing, and managing the yoga center. Kaye is registered with Yoga Alliance as a RYT500 teacher.

Her yoga certification was in Kundalini Yoga & Meditation and she has participated in a number of Anusara and Hatha Yoga trainings and workshops. She received her Cranio-Sacral Training through Upledger Institute. She participated in Advanced Practitioner training in the Healing from the Core curriculum, a number of Brain Gym training modules and Sat Nam Rasayan (a meditative healing practice) training. Kaye is also a Reiki Master/Teacher and received a Oneness and Healing Deeksha from Baghavan (Oneness Foundation) in India.

She works with adults and children and teaches Yoga classes in public and private elementary, middle and high schools, corporations, and other studios in the metro west area of Boston as well as the founder of the Children’s Yoga and Art Camp here in Franklin. Kaye has taught and lead workshops in yoga and meditation locally and in Costa Rica and Hawaii. Kaye is also co-founder of a beautiful 150 acre rainforest preserve project on the pacific coast in Costa Rica. Recently, Kaye has branched out into writing. In addition to writing a weekly newsletter for Franklin Yoga, she has a story published in one of the newest Chicken Soup for the Soul books, Power Moms, released in March 2009. She is passionately working on her second novel while waiting for publication of her first, On the Eleventh Day.
